About Hamiedog - The Story So Far...

Hamiedog is a proper North East menswear brand built on personality, local pride and a love for clean, simple style. What started as a small idea in Whitley Bay has grown into a full clothing and lifestyle store - still run by the same two people who care about every customer who walks through the door.

I’m Scott, the owner and designer behind Hamiedog. You’ll usually find me in the shop at weekends, chatting with customers, updating the range and keeping the place looking sharp.

​

Through the week, the shop is run by Maz - assistant manager, right‑hand woman and my mam. She’s the heart of the place Tuesday to Friday, and if you’ve ever visited on a weekday, you’ll know she loves the social side of the job. She especially enjoys meeting customers who bring their dogs in — they’re always guaranteed a warm welcome and a fuss.

Together, we run Hamiedog with a mix of North East humour, proper customer service and a genuine passion for independent retail. We’re proud to stock our own Hamiedog clothing alongside quality brands we believe in, from OddBalls boxers to Mancave grooming essentials - all chosen because they’re solid, reliable and full of personality.

Hamiedog started with a simple idea: menswear that feels local, looks good and doesn’t take itself too seriously. What began as a small clothing range has grown into a full shop with tees, hoodies, hats, boxers, grooming products and more — all curated with proper North East love.
