Hamiedog Menswear was founded in 2016 by Scott Glazebrook. Whitley Bay was our only choice of location, there's a real buzz in the air that the town has turned a corner and is on the up. Thousands of pounds of investment has recently taken place - just look at the sea front and the stunning refurbished 'Spanish City' Dome. Businesses are setting up here - and they're staying.

The vision for Hamiedog (pronounced "Hay-me-dog") was always to bring men a selection of decent quality gear but at a fraction of the price that you'd pay for designer goods. Our collection looks good - as we have grown, we now only sell clothing which has been designed by north-east people. There is a lot of talent in this part of the country and we're proud to showcase new and established local clothing labels.

We are passionate about our town. We are passionate about supporting local businesses. We really want to convince people to ditch the out-of-town shopping centres, if only for one day of the week, and spend a few hours getting to know what's on your doorstep - or just a short walk from it. We work with other retailers and service providers as part of the Whitley Bay Chamber of Trade, to promote the local area and make sure that everyone knows how brilliant it is.
