Introducing Behind the Counter — Real Conversations, Straight from Park View

At Hamiedog, we’ve always believed that menswear is only half the story. The other half is the people who walk through the door — the conversations, the laughs, the daft moments, the honest chats, and the everyday stories that make this place what it is.

So we’re doing something new.

We’re launching a podcast called Behind the Counter — a casual, frank, no‑nonsense conversation between our owner Scott and another bloke each episode. No scripts. No filters. No corporate polish. Just two men talking properly about a topic that actually matters (or at least makes us laugh).

Each episode will dive into something different:

• the unwritten rules of being a man

• the daft things we argue about

• the stuff men don’t usually say out loud

• the joys and disasters of getting older

• the strange, brilliant world of independent retail

• and whatever else comes up once the kettle’s on

It’s not a fashion podcast. It’s a people podcast — from a menswear shop.

We’ll be recording right here on Park View, surrounded by the same T‑shirts, hoodies and odd conversations that inspired the idea in the first place.
