We have received notification from our preferred courier service Yodel that they are currently experiencing a very high volume of delivery requests and have temporarily stopped delivering to home addresses, and are only delivering to shops for collection.


For the time being we have extended our delivery service to include some other couriers including EVRi, Royal Mail and DPD. Although these are a little more expensive we will absorb the costs and will not pass these on to you.


Tracking information will be provided on all online orders and we don't expect any problems but please bear in mind that the bad weather, for example the current storm alerts across the UK, affect all postal services and this is out of our control.


Please don't leave your online orders too late as you only have until Saturday 14 December, after which date our website will be closed for orders to be delivered.

It's that of year again where the various postal services buckle under the pressure from Christmas deliveries so for 2024 we are closing our online order book fairly early on to ensure that you receive your order well before the big day.


So - our final order date for delivery via courier is going to be Saturday 14 December.


Unfortunately once we pass on your order to the courier it is largely out of our hands and while we hope that deliveries will be on time, we have absolutely no control over this so apologies in advance in the event of any delays.


Please note that we will close our website for new orders from Sunday 15 December and it will reopen in the new year.


Of course, our Whitley Bay store will still be open as normal and we'll announce our festive hours mid December.

Unfortunately the European and international mail services have let us (and you) down too many times and we are regularly faced with having to deal with missing and delayed orders to our customers outside of the UK.


We have made the decision to suspend our deliveries outside of the UK for the moment until we can work on an alternative solution. We would hate for you to order something for Christmas and find that it doesn't turn up, through something which is outside of our control


We're really sorry about this but the issue is costing us to fix every time, and we can't afford it as a small independent business.


Please keep watching our site and if we're able to come up with a more reliable international delivery option we will let everyone know.
