Christmas Opening Hours

We've changed our opening hours around the Christmas period so that we are here for you all the way up to Christmas eve.

We are approaching the mad pre-Christmas rush and we want to make sure we're giving you as many options as possible so you can get your presents in time for the big day.

Also, for the first time ever, we're taking a very short break to re-charge the batteries between Christmas and new year so here's a look at our temporary hours:

Wednesday 23 December: 11am to 4pm

Thursday 24 December: 10am to 4pm

We will then be closed from Friday 25 December

reopening on Saturday 2 January from 10am to 5pm

As we have been so busy over the festive shopping period, our website is now operating a click and collect service only as we have passed the Royal Mail recommended last posting dates for Christmas delivery. We will return to normal in January when you can choose from our regular delivery options.

This year has certainly been different and not without several challenges. Thanks for bearing with us as we have all adjusted to the new way of working. At this point we don't know whether we will be facing further restrictions in January, although they are looking quite likely. Please keep an eye on our website and social media pages where we will keep you informed.

Thank you to everyone who has shopped local this year. We appreciate your support so much. It is YOU who has kept our local shops alive and our high streets looking healthy and loved. Let's keep this going into 2021.

Time to re-open

Lockdown is finally over and although we're not out of the woods yet, the good news is that we are allowed to open our Whitley Bay store once again - just in time for Christmas shopping!

Social distancing measures will still be observed in store and for the time being our fitting room is still unavailable, but we can't wait to see you all face to face again.

Don't forget to wear a face covering (we sell them if you need one) and call in!

We will be monitoring footfall on a daily basis and will be starting off with a bit of late night shopping on our re-opening day of Thursday 3rd December.

Here's our initial opening hours - please keep checking though because these are likely to change subject to demand. Also, we are aware that the Metro system is experiencing delays due to driver unavailability - and because this is what we use to get to the shop, there may be the odd time that we are late as a result. Sorry in advance if this happens.

Opening hours for our first week:

Thursday 3rd December: 10:00am to 7:00pm

Friday 4th December: 10:00am to 6:00pm

Saturday 5th December: 9:30am to 6:00pm

Sunday 6th December: 11:00am to 4:00pm

Thanks to everyone for shopping local - before, during and after the various levels of restriction we have faced this year. 2020 is certainly one to remember, but let's make Christmas extra special for everyone.

Early closing on Tuesday 27th October

We just want to let you know about a very small change to our shop opening hours on Tuesday 27th October.

For Tuesday 27th only, we will be opening from 10am until 3pm.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused and have done our best to share this information across all of our social networking sites too.

Don't worry, there is no cause for concern and we will be back on Thursday 29th October as normal - 10am to 4pm.
