There is no doubt that many people will have their eyes on the television during the course of the day, but for those of you who prefer a 'business as normal' day we are pleased to confirm that the shop will be open from 9:30am to 5:00pm.

We will be celebrating the Coronation along with many of the other businesses in the town and will have our shop windows decorated with the Union Flag to commemorate this very special occasion.

Whatever you are doing on Saturday 6 May, we hope you enjoy it.

We have been here in Whitley Bay for over 6 years now and we are really pleased to hear that the town has won the Best Place to Live in northern England award by The Times!

Lighthouse surrounded by the sea

Now, of course, we have known for many years that Whitley Bay is the place to be. But now it seems to be finally official and we love it!

A lot of hard work has gone into the town over recent years and it is brilliant to see that this has been recognised and celebrated by a national newspaper.

This hopefully means more visitors to the town and more of you lovely people calling into our store to shop for some of the best northern themed clothing, designed right here in the local area.

If you haven't been to Whitley Bay for a while and think it hasn't changed, you may be in for a pleasant surprise. Come and see for yourself!
